4. No Coverage Bound Through This Website

Submitting a form on this site does not bind any insurance coverage.

Coverage is only bound when an insurance carrier or a representative with authority to bind provides written confirmation that coverage is in effect. A quote, request, or email acknowledging receipt of your request is not a binder.

Until you have received a binder, policy, or other written confirmation from a party authorized to bind coverage, you should not assume coverage is in place. A certificate of insurance summarizes policy information; it does not create, change, or bind coverage.

Insurance carriers make final underwriting decisions. BLIS cannot guarantee that coverage will be available, that a specific limit or term will be offered, or that a quote will result in a placed policy.

• Pay premiums and fees as agreed with your insurance carrier and with BLIS

Providing false or misleading information on an insurance application is a serious matter and may result in denial of claims, cancellation of coverage, or other legal consequences. BLIS is not responsible for coverage issues arising from inaccurate or incomplete information you provided.

8. BLIS’s Role

BLIS operates as an independent insurance agency. We represent our clients, not insurance carriers. We help clients obtain quotes, compare options, place coverage, and manage ongoing service needs.

BLIS earns compensation through commissions paid by insurance carriers (typically included in your premium) and may charge service fees, which are disclosed in advance.

BLIS is not an insurance carrier. We do not underwrite insurance, and we do not set final premium rates, coverage terms, or underwriting decisions. Those decisions are made by the insurance carrier.

9. Third-Party Links and Platforms

This site may link to third-party sites such as carrier portals or payment processors. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or privacy practices of those sites. Links to third-party sites do not constitute an endorsement.

10. Intellectual Property

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, BLIS and its members, officers, employees, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from your use of this site or reliance on its content.

BLIS’s total liability for any claim arising from use of this site — if any — is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid to BLIS for services in the 12 months before the claim arose, or (b) one hundred dollars ($100).

Some states do not allow exclusion of certain damages. Where applicable law does not permit this limitation, BLIS’s liability is limited to the extent permitted by law.

Informal resolution

Before initiating any formal proceeding, you agree to contact BLIS at service@blisins.com and describe the dispute. We will make a good-faith effort to resolve the issue informally within 30 days.

Governing courts

If informal resolution fails, disputes arising from these Terms or use of this site shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Los Angeles County, California. You consent to personal jurisdiction in those courts.

Class action waiver

You agree that any dispute will be resolved on an individual basis. You waive any right to participate in a class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration.

These Terms do not require binding arbitration. Disputes may be brought in the courts identified in the governing-law section above.

14. Changes to These Terms
