Broker Relationship

BLIS acts as an insurance broker, representing you (the client) in obtaining insurance coverage. We work with multiple insurance carriers to find appropriate coverage for your business needs. We are not employees or agents of any insurance carrier.

Licensing

BLIS is licensed to sell insurance in California (License #0M74955), Nevada (License #3983946), Arizona (License #3003332484), Texas (License #2966873), Florida (License #L120266), and Hawaii (License #3003340133). We comply with all applicable state insurance regulations.

3. No Guarantee of Coverage

While we work diligently to find appropriate insurance coverage for our clients:

• We cannot guarantee that coverage will be available for your specific needs
• Insurance carriers have the sole discretion to accept or decline applications
• Coverage is subject to underwriting approval and may include exclusions or limitations
• Quotes provided are estimates and may change based on underwriting review
• We are not responsible for coverage denials or policy cancellations by insurance carriers

4. Client Responsibilities

Accurate Information

You agree to provide accurate, complete, and truthful information when requesting quotes or applying for insurance. Misrepresentation or omission of material facts may result in denial of coverage, policy cancellation, or denial of claims. You are responsible for reviewing all policy documents and ensuring accuracy.

Premium Payments

You are responsible for timely payment of insurance premiums. Failure to pay premiums may result in policy cancellation. Premium payments may be processed through ePayPolicy (our third-party payment processor), directly through insurance carriers, or through carrier-designated payment systems, depending on the specific policy and carrier requirements. Payment methods and terms will be communicated to you when your policy is bound.

Policy Review

You are responsible for reviewing all policy documents, declarations pages, endorsements, and exclusions. You should contact us immediately if you have questions or believe there are errors in your policy.

Changes in Risk

You must notify us promptly of any material changes to your business operations, locations, vehicles, employees, or other factors that may affect your insurance coverage.

5. Fees and Compensation

Broker Commissions

BLIS is primarily compensated through commissions paid by insurance carriers. These commissions are typically included in your insurance premium and do not result in additional charges to you.

Service Fees

In some cases, we may charge service fees for specific services such as policy changes, certificate issuance, or specialized consulting. Any such fees will be disclosed to you in advance and require your agreement before services are rendered.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless BLIS, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from: (a) your use of our services; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) your violation of any law or regulation; or (d) misrepresentation or omission of material facts in insurance applications.

11. Dispute Resolution and Arbitration

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes shall be resolved under California law.

Jurisdiction and Venue

You agree that any legal action or proceeding arising out of or relating to these Terms or our services shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Los Angeles County, California. You irrevocably consent to the personal jurisdiction and venue of these courts and waive any objection to jurisdiction or venue.

Binding Arbitration

At BLIS's sole discretion, we may elect to resolve any dispute through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association. Any arbitration shall take place in Los Angeles County, California, and shall be conducted under California law. The arbitrator's decision shall be final and binding, and judgment may be entered in any court of competent jurisdiction. You agree to waive any right to a jury trial.

Informal Resolution

Before filing any legal action or arbitration, you agree to first contact us at service@blisins.com to attempt to resolve the dispute informally. We are committed to working with our clients to resolve any concerns promptly and fairly.

Class Action Waiver

You agree that any dispute resolution proceedings will be conducted only on an individual basis and not in a class, consolidated, or representative action. You waive any right to participate in a class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration.

12. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to our website or services at any time, with or without notice, for any reason, including violation of these Terms. You may terminate your relationship with us at any time by providing written notice. Termination does not affect insurance policies already in force.

13. Changes to Terms

14. Severability
